The MyVillage programme was launched as an extension of the MySchool programme, to provide community-minded individuals the opportunity to support a worthy cause or charity close to their heart. Anyone can support the charity of their choice. 

What is a Village?

We classify Villages as organisations that provide upliftment to communities and individuals in various ways other than the educational school environment.

They actively seek to improve the lives of our fellow men, women and children. Our top Villages include Abraham Kriel Childcare, Cotlands, I Care, Childline, CHOC, SA National Council for the Blind, Reach for a Dream, The Starfish Foundation, NOAH, Sunflower Fund, Children's Hospital Trust (Red Cross), NSRI (National Sea Rescue Institute), SAGA (Guide Dog Association), Heartbeart, Doctors without Borders, SARDA, Sesego Cares, The Shine Centre, SOS Children's Village, Hospice Palliative Care Association and the Amy Biehl Foundation.

How can you support these causes?

1) If you don't have a MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card yet, simply apply for your free card now and select your favourite beneficiary. Once you start swiping your card the charity of your choice will start receiving funds.

2) If you already have a MySchool card, but would like to change your beneficiary or add a charity, simply call our Client Service Centre on 0860 100 445 or email us on This email address is being protected from spambots.
