What is MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet?
MySchool MyVillage and MyPlanet is one of South Africa's biggest fundraising programmes – raising over R6 million a month for schools and charities. I want to raise funds for worthy/under-resourced/needy schools and charities. What do you recommend?
We’ve created the Thuso Fund for Schools and Charities, specifically to help under-resourced schools and charities all over South Africa. By choosing Thuso Fund as your beneficiary, you’ll be able to make a direct contribution to schools and charities that need it most. All funds raised for these beneficiaries are administered by MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet, in accordance with our Corporate Social Investment policy. View more information on Thuso Fund.
Thuso Fund is focused on supporting the following social development areas:
Education needs: to provide school resources, training material, physical repairs and financial assistance to under-resourced and previously disadvantaged communities.
Social upliftment: to provide resources and support to under-resourced charities and/or previously disadvantaged communities that care for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children and individuals with disabilities.
Environmental initiatives: to support and protect the natural ecosystems of our country, with an aim to reduce our national carbon footprint. Animal protection and rehabilitation.
