Registered MySchool MyVillage My Planet beneficiaries will receive R10.00 (ten rand) for each new supporter they sign up from 1 November to 4 December 2022.

1. The Promoter: This MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet Promotion Acquisition (the “ Promotion”) is operated by Virtual Market Place (Pty) Ltd (Reg No: 1997/016316/07) (“MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet” or “MySchool” or “us” or “we”).
   
   
2. Who may participate:The Promotion is open to all registered beneficiaries of the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet programme (“Participants” or “beneficiaries”). By participating in this Promotion, beneficiaries confirm the acceptance of these Rules.
   
   
3. The Promotion period:The Promotion commences at 00:01 on 1 November 2022 and closes at 23:59 on 4 December 2022 (the “Promotion Period”). There is no fee to participate in this Promotion.

4. How to take participate: MySchool Beneficiaries (i.e., organisations registered with the MySchool programme) may participate in this Promotion by acquiring new supporters during the Promotion Period. Beneficiaries will receive a unique link from MySchool to be used for all new support sign ups, for tracking and monitoring purposes. These new supporters must be new MySchool card sign ups and not existing MySchool supporters. By signing up a new supporter during the Promotion Period, you automatically qualify to participate in this Promotion. All new supporters shall be bound by the MySchool terms and conditions for supporters.

5. Beneficiaries who acquire new supporters through alternative channels (App download, hard copy, portal, SMS and call centre sign ups), during the Promotion Period, will also receive R10.00 (ten rand) for being the new supporters selected beneficiary/beneficiary of choice.

6. Promotional Prize: For each new sign up to the MySchool programme, that the beneficiary acquires during the Promotion Period, MySchool will pay R10.00 (ten rand) to the acquiring beneficiary. The payment to the beneficiary will be made by MySchool by way of electronic funds transfer on or before 31 December 2022, into the beneficiary’s nominated bank account.

GENERAL

7. Amendments to the Rules:These Rules may be amended by MySchool on notification to Participants at any time during the Promotion Period. The latest date upon which these Rules were amended will be published at the top of these Rules.
   
   
8. Disqualification:MySchool, acting in its sole discretion, may disqualify any beneficiary from this Promotion that it believes is not acting in accordance with these Rules or contrary to the terms and conditions associated with being a MySchool beneficiary.  
   
   
9. Personal Information: MySchool collects and uses the personal information of Participants to allow them to enter the Promotions, comply with audit requirements in terms of the Consumer Protection Act and to determine winners for the Promotions. MySchool MyVillage My Planet may use a Participant’s name and/or images in marketing material, which may include publication of the Participant’s name and/or images on co.za/todaywithwooliesand the MySchool social media pages, but the winner will always be informed of this beforehand and will be given an opportunity to refuse to permit any use of his/her names and/or images. 10. Audit:MySchool reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any Participant to verify their eligibility to receive the promotional prize.

11. Circumstances beyond MySchool’s control:If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is not reasonably foreseeable or is beyond the reasonable control of MySchool and which delays or prevents MySchool from complying with these Rules, MySchool will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
    
    
12. Indemnity: By participating in the Promotion, Participants agree to indemnify MySchool, and release and hold MySchool harmless against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this Promotion or resulting from acceptance and participation in the Promotion including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

13. Any reference to MySchool in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to include reference to Woolworths (Pty) Ltd, Woolworths Financial Services (Pty) Ltd and any of their holding, associated or sister companies and subsidiaries. Please note that when you share your information with one of these companies, you agree to also sharing it with others within the Woolworths group of companies who may use it to send you promotional material.
