Here’s to the people

Saluting our everyday heroes!

Supporters who remember to swipe and make a difference to those who need it most.

We are turning our attention to our everyday heroes — the ones who always remember to swipe their MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet cards every time they shop at any of our retail partners.

Over the past 23 years, you have raised over R750 million for the causes closest to your hearts and we salute you!

To show our appreciation for our everyday heroes we randomly selected loyal supporters to have their portraits designed by renowned local artists Sindiso Nyoni and Ishaarah Arnold.

Through these renditions we are hoping to inspire other everyday heroes to join our community and start making a difference across South Africa.

This campaign may be one of our most important so far. “Many people are under the mis-conception that a lot of time or money is required to make a difference to something they care about. We want to highlight and emphasise to them that it doesn’t have to cost a single extra cent, and yet the joint impact of supporters coming together in numbers can be phenomenal, as that is what truly makes a difference,” says Pieter Twine, General Manager of MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet.

We salute you!
