T&Cs: Update your Profile & Win!
By participating in the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet “Update your Profile & Win” promotion you accept the following Terms and Conditions:
1. The MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet “Update your Profile & Win” promotion is an initiative of the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet fundraising programme.
2. The MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet “Update your Profile & Win” promotion is open to all blue cardholders and WW linked-in cardholders over the age of 18 years who are in lawful possession of a MySchool Card or Woolworths linked Difference Card, Store Card or Visa Credit Card.
3. The competition commences on 23 January 2012 and shall close on 17 February 2012 (called “the promotion period”).
4. The MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet “Update your Profile & Win” promotion is not open to MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet or Woolworths employees and their family members including the employees and family members of the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet advertising and promotional agencies, and their partners or distributors.
5. In order to enter the competition and qualify to win a prize, cardholders must have updated their online profile’s during the promotion period.
6. A R2000 Woolworths gift card will be awarded every week during the promotion period. One lucky winner will be drawn each week.
7. Weekly winners will be identified via a lucky draw, as judged by an independent panel.
8. The judge’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winner agrees that their respective names may be used for publicity purposes.
10. Winner announcement will be held every week following the end of a new week. Winners will be notified via phone or email.
11. MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet will witness a fair random selection process and the judges’ decision shall be final.
12. The prizes are not transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
13. In the event that the winner cannot be successfully contacted within 48 hours after reasonable attempts to do so, MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet reserves the right to disqualify the winner from the competition and to draw another winner in his or her stead.
14. By participating in the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet “Update your Profile & Win” promotion, the winner agrees to release and hold MySchool and Woolworths harmless against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this competition or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
15. MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet reserves the right to amend or terminate this competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, the entrants and winner agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet, its advertising and promotional agencies, distributors and their respective employees.
Any reference to MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to include reference to Virtual Market Place (Pty) Ltd and any of their holding, associated, affiliated companies and subsidiaries.
