Register as a beneficiary

What does it mean to be a MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet beneficiary?

We currently support over 10 000 schools and over 400 registered charities and welfare groups. We provide these organisations with our unique fundraising tool (the MySchool programme). This tool includes our management of the programme, infrastructure, logistics, payment processing and allocation, card issuing, client service and query management, and reporting tools. We also provide the registered beneficiaries with various resources (such as customised application forms, website content and advice on how to use the programme).

How much money will beneficiaries make? How do they ensure the programme is a success?

It is the beneficiary’s responsibility to use the tools we have provided to their benefit. MySchool does not manage the individual beneficiary’s fundraising efforts. Therefore the amount of funds raised is dependent on various factors. Those beneficiaries that are currently successfully using the programme have

  1. A dedicated fundraiser who manages all fundraising activities (including the MySchool programme)
  2. Regular communication with their supporters through various channels to keep them updated on the funds raised and how these funds are used
  3. At least 1000 active supporters (who use their cards on a monthly basis at the various MySchool partners)
  4. Events where they sign up new supporters and ensure their current supporters keep supporting them
  5. A MySchool information page on their website and marketing material to show potential supporters that they can be nominated as a beneficiary
