Lower prices on selected items
As a cardholder, you can take advantage of special lower prices on selected items throughout the store – on food, clothing, accessories, homeware and more – with new offers in store every few weeks. Simply swipe your card before your purchases are rung up and see the difference on your till slip. (Even if you are paying with a Woolworths card you must still swipe your card before the transaction to ensure you benefit from special lower prices for cardholders.)

The more you shop, the bigger the reward
More good news! Rewards are tiered, so the more you spend, the more rewards you earn.
The tier you’re on depends on how much you spend, and you’ll be able to move upwards based on the amount you spend in each quarter. You’ll start out on the valued tier however if you have a Woolworths Black Credit card, you’ll automatically enjoy VIP status for a year.
If you don’t quality to stay on your tier, you may move down to the lower tier – but that will only happen once a year in the month of June. To find out more about the various tiers, and which tier you are on, click here.

Can anyone join the Woolworths Rewards programme?
Anyone in South Africa is eligible to join. Unfortunately this does not include Namibia or any other neighbouring territories.

How do the loyalty tiers work?
The programme will be refreshed every year: if you’ve spend the required amount, upgrades will happen quarterly; if you haven’t spent the required annual amount, downgrades will happen annually.
First upgrade will be end January 2011; first annual downgrade will be 25 June 2011
How do I know what tier I'm on?
You can either go online at http://www.woolworths.co.za/ , call the Interactive Voice Response line (0861 992 582) or go in-store to Customer Services and they’ll inform you which tier you’re on. Make sure you have your relevant card with you.
How do I get card holders' special prices?
Will I get card holders' special prices at Engen Food Stores?
There will be no card holders’ special prices at Engen Food Stores, but any Woolies products bought on your Woolworths store or credit card will contribute to your tier calculations.
Will this impact the funds I help to raise for my beneficiary?
Donations to MySchool beneficiaries will be calculated on the purchase price paid for products in our stores by participants in this Rewards Programme
