St Paul’s Primary School has been established since 1925, it boasts 123 learners who are unable to pay any school fees. Funding is a huge problem as the school serves in a very poor community. The local church owns the school, and there are several social problems as a result of drug and alcohol abuse in the area. Unfortunately many of the school children also have fetal alcohol syndrome. The government provides them with a feeding scheme ensuring that the children do receive meals, however the school is in dire need of educational toys & equipment – the outdoor property is very barren. This school requires proper playing facilities to provide their learners with a place to have fun, develop and grow as all young children should.
