Each year, the Woolworths Educational Programmes and the MySchool Fundraising Programme look forward to celebrating World Teachers’ Day on the 5th of October.

Our annual Teachers’ Day competition provides an opportunity for your school to celebrate OUR REAL HEROES this Teachers Day to raise awareness, in your school community, about the vital role teacher’s play in the lives of South African children.

To enter

  1. Learners should write a letter of no more than 200 words about how the nominated teacher has made a positive impact in their lives.
  2. The letter must include the name of the nominated teacher, school, grade of the learner and region in which the school is located as per our T&Cs.
  3. Entries can also include photographs and drawings showing activities they have been involved in with their nominated teacher.
