Swipe to give 2000 learners lap desks: Youth Day May 2014
In Sub-Saharan Africa there are over 95 million school children that don’t have the benefit of a classroom desk. The lack of a desk, a writing surface, affects handwriting, concentration and overall academic performance. The Tutudesk Campaign provides portable school desks to children in Sub Saharan Africa. These lap desks are locally produced and make a noticeable difference in each learner’s school life.

This week MySchool together with Woolworths and the support of the 94.7 Highveld Stereo Ground Patrol team, will be visiting five schools across Johannesburg and Pretoria - where learners are in need of ‘Back to School’ materials - to hand over stationary, library books and lunch boxes to the value of R115 500-00.
