| MySchool wins third place in Sunday Times Top Brand awards 2009 |
|
The annual Sunday Times Top Brands Awards has become a respected and eagerly anticipated event in the marketing and advertising industry calendar.
The award, based on consumer research, is a reflection of a brand’s strength. This year MySchool is honoured and excited to accept the third place in the Top Loyalty Brands category. Never before has MySchool been nominated for this award.
The industry’s thinking and evaluation of brand strength has move away from “simply measuring a brands size to also examine the relative power it has among its users, and its relative attraction among non-users,” according to Neil Higgs, director of innovation and development at TNS Research Surveys.
Their company was commissioned with the massive task of identifying the Top Brands. Based on these insights the measurement criteria to identify top brands used the following four principles in each category:
They used a sample of 3500 representative responded across the country in the consumer brand categories. In the loyalty and rewards programme category Ster-Kinekor came first, Clicks Club Card came second and MySchool entered into the competition at third place. We realise that we would never be able to achieve these results without the continued commitment of our partners and the dedication and support of our card holders. Thank you for your loyalty and making it possible for us to raise more than R18 million in the last year for schools and charities across South Africa! |
