GAUTENG PROVINCE

Huggy Bears have used their MySchool funds to buy new crayons and paints for the school.

Bedfordview Montessori helped to buy new benches for the garden using their MySchool funds.

Dumbo Nursery School - MySchool funds goes towards stationary and groceries.

 

Rosebank Primary school used their My School funds towards buying educational equipment.

St Vincent School for the Deaf used their MySchool funds to purchase new smart boards.

Bellavista School has employed the services of a qualified sewing teacher for the past 14 years.   Bellavista hosts the classes and remains responsible for the upkeep of existing sewing machines and the purchase thereof, to ensure ongoing support and sustainability of this initiative.

Broadacres Farm Nursery School used their annual MySchool funds towards new Astroturf in the kiddies play area. 

 


WESTERN CAPE

Outeniqua High ProjectHoly Cross sponsored the transport for two disabled athletes from Zimbabwe for the annual Wheelchair Marathon.

Over 400 items for personal hygiene have been collected and distributed. Groceries have also been bought for needy families within our school.

The Outeniqua High Project has been running for 3 years.  
The main aim of the project is to support learners from under resourced schools, socially, spiritually and academically.

The learners of Outeniqua High reach out to these schools on Wednesdays and Fridays. 30 learners take part in the project. Activities include reading and training of computer skills. Mr. Andre Buitendag held activity camps during school holidays, where these students were involved.
