Our 101 Arks provide the following services:
Noah assists in mobilising the entire community to the challenge of caring for our orphaned and vulnerable children resulting in the formation of a committee of community leaders to focus on child care. For Noah, an OVC programme intervention includes activities aimed at improving the lives of children and families directly affected by HIV and AIDS-related morbidity and or mortality. The emphasis is on strengthening communities to meet the needs of OVC affected by HIV and AIDS, supporting community-based responses, helping OVC and adolescents meet their own needs, and creating a supportive social environment for these children.
NOAH'S VISION To ensure that orphan and vulnerable children in South Africa have an opportunity to grow up into emotionally, psychologically and physically healthy adults.
NOAH'S MISSION To empower communities with the knowledge, skills, strategies and self-confidence to care for their own orphans and vulnerable children.
Noah is at it's heart a community based organisation and our beneficiaries are intricately involved in planning, roll-out and development of all projects. Noah provides training, support, mentoring and funding to ensure sustainability. You can be a part of the solution. Volunteer, donate, get involved!

In response to the realisation that we face an "epidemic of orphans" following the AIDS pandemic in South Africa, Nurturing Orphans of AIDS for Humanity (Noah), was formed. Noah works on franchising community-based models of orphan care through which motivated individuals from communities are guided to set up their own community networks of care. This functioning web of community support is called an Ark.
