KWAZULU-NATAL
Northwood School renovated their Media Centre with the funds raised through the MySchool programme.
The books are made available for the students at the “Career Zone” section which is also inside the Media Centre.
Seaforth College School has made a Thermometer board for scholars and parents to see how much money they are making with their fundraising. The MySchool logo is visible at the bottom of the board.
Northlands Primary School made news on the PRIMARY NEWS PAPER because of the MySchool Game Show.
JOHANNESBURG Ekuwini Independent Pre-Primary received R5 000 at the local Woolworths store opening.
Risidale Primary School used their funds raised through the MySchool programme to give 50% back to parents off their school fees. Bishop Bavin used a portion of their funds to help an organisation called Orange Farms. Hospice Wits reaches out to the community.
St Teresa’s Mercy School shows love and compassion to the society. The school started a group called the Interact Club which is a voluntary group of girls who do all they can to help the lives of those less fortunate than themselves. These girls visit many centres, homes and clinics on Friday afternoons, once school is finished for the week. Woolworths Charity Golf Day was a great success.
